Awhile back, I took the plunge and got myself some Japanese Silk Rope, which has been on my to-do list for a long long time. Finally getting it means that I can begin completing other rope-related goals. And I have been in rope heaven!
The Boyfriend enthusiastically agreed to be my guinea pig and after days and days of reading and tons of re-researching and a whole heck of a lot of caution and awkwardness, I officially got to tie some ties.
I decided I really liked a cuff that I found on ropefashions.com and as The Boyfriend laid back and watched Volume II of Nymphomaniac (even better the second time around!), I gave my first ever ropework an attempt.
I intentionally did it pretty loose, mainly because I wasn’t 100% sure how it would feel for him. I knew the texture of the rope would probably irritate him if it were too tight because he has super sensitive skin. I tried it out on his leg, mainly because it was easiest in his movie-watching position. He was pretty awesome for it and liked it enough to let me do more the next night.
As he sat in bed, playing Grand Theft Auto, I did a very lazy wrap around his chest. I mainly just wanted to play around with the rope and not specifically do anything in particular. It ended up being a pretty spectacular experience.

I did it a little tighter than the leg cuff and left it on for longer. I thought at some point that he would complain about something – the way the rope felt around his nipple or the tightness as he began to half slouch, something – but he seemed to be enjoying it. We both delighted in the fact that he was left with his very first rope marks.

I’m hoping eventually he’ll decide that he wants to try it out on me. There’s only so much that you can do to yourself. However, I’m more than happy to just keep practicing on him!
It’s been quite awhile since I last did a Tumblr favorites post. I officially came back to my Tumblr blog in January and have been trying to get on there at least once a day – although there’s a lot of sexiness there and that can eat up a good portion of your day…
But I thought, four months is the perfect amount to share some of my favorites – especially being that I’ve got about 400 posts to pick from… So enjoy and don’t forget to follow me on Tumblr.
Of course, this is a very small selection and you can find all sorts of stuff on my Tumblr – although big heads up (and if you didn’t realize it yet… well…), everything is very NSFW. I mean, you will find some stuff that is incredibly tame, but for the most part, you’ll find a lot that isn’t.
So please feel free to check out more and follow me on Tumblr and then leave your comments to the questions below!

The Erotic Writers Group just started doing these new writing challenges with their Pinterest board full of writing prompts and I’m in charge of making up all these new “pinnable” prompts.
I’ve got five so far with another five planned for release in the next few days and I want to know what you think of them. Are they good writing prompts? Could you write something with them? Don’t forget we’re talking erotically here…
Also, I’d love to gather suggestions for more writing prompts, so please don’t hesitate to leave your comments below full of wonderful writing suggestions! Without further adieu, here’s the wicked Pinterest board:
And here’s a sneak peek at the five we’ll be releasing on Challenge Central this Sunday (but shhh! It’s a secret!):
See all the awesome randomness I’m discovering while having too much fun exploring Tumblr.
Be warned: this is definitely not safe for work content!
“Although I technically already followed all of the members of The Erotic Writers Group (because I’m the owner of it and that’s just how I roll), I was really looking forward to participating in this challenge, so I picked five writers that I’ve only ever followed socially and followed their blogs, something I don’t do very often.”
See who I followed…
I created this video with WeVideo to give a preview of what was coming up over the first week of writing challenges on The Erotic Writers Group: Challenge Central.
If you’d like to participate, I invite you to check out our Google+ Event and join our Google+ Community.
