The Boyfriend and Carter

Pictures from the Past Week

It’s been a warm week weather-wise, even though it’s still all gross and snowy… It’s meant a lot of outside time, especially being that there’s been a lot of time off school. I haven’t gotten nearly as many pictures as I maybe could’ve, but I wanted to share some of my favorites from this past week.

We had a couple really nice days for walks home from school. The only part that sucked at all about this week was that it kept looking like it was a hot sunny day outside and the birds were chirping like spring was just around the corner, and then you’d step outside and it would be this skin tightening bracing cold. The worst day for it was the day that the kids decided they wanted to go down to Grandma’s…

Carter made it about halfway before beginning to complain about the cold. Kenzie couldn’t care less though. He was running and skipping basically all the way to Grandma’s house and once we got there, stayed outside long enough to build a snowman. Keirnan only cared about a bath because for some reason, he really likes taking baths at Grandma’s and Carter is all about the lego.

Today, The Boyfriend and Carter were sitting on the couch and Carter began to pet The Boyfriend. Carter is often very affectionate and cuddly towards his Daddy and oftentimes wants kisses and cuddles from Daddy more than Mommy. The Boyfriend decided to snap a few shots and this is what happened…

Plus, we can’t forget the awesome sauce that I’m posting over on Instagram, like this sexy selfie:

And finally, it’s all about Pokemon in our house right now…

Ashton Rayne - Formal 2

TS4 – Goodbye Rayne, Hello Starting Over…

What a horrible day today…

I’ve spent pretty much all darn day on The Sims 4. I re-built The Rayne Household, which took me so darn long it was ridiculous. I just couldn’t get it right if my life depended on it. Even the finished product is missing a bunch of things…

I’m almost sure that I saved at this point. But my game had been lagging dramatically since I had first started playing. I’m sure I saved…

Then, Thunder had a birthday that went unnoticed. It wasn’t really anyone’s fault. We all knew it was 2 days away and then all of a sudden, it was time to age up. Normally, I get the “birthday in 2 days” notice and bake a cake and get that party started. Somehow, none of that happened.

Maybe it was the fashion show that I decided to make the family have…

All of a sudden, I couldn’t save my game. It just kept saying it was in a state that could not be saved. It was stuck on Thunder aging up and when I tried to fix it, it just made him an adult – but without any of the usual fun that comes with becoming an adult. He was still teenage Thunder, and I couldn’t save the game.

In a very drastic and sudden move, at the idea of losing hours upon hours of gameplay once more, I quickly exited the game, realized how much time I had just lost, and deleted every single save of The Rayne Household.

I’m sick of the glitches and I want to play with all the knowledge I now have about the game, instead of learning it over time during what I think is one of the hardest things in the world to do – play a family over and over and over and over again…

So, today I say “Goodbye Ashton, Walker, Rain, Thunder, Aria and all the Rayne babies that no longer exist” and I say “Hello to a brand new day, this time, in Willow Creek!”…

TS4 – Ashton’s In Love!!

It’s been about a week since I started playing my legacy-esque game on The Sims 4. My founder, Ashton Rayne, is a creative genius and a total bookworm who aspires to be a famous author. Over the past week, she’s been promoted numerous times (including officially picking the author branch of her career) and most recently has fallen in love. She’s also published over 10 different books and done a couple other cool things.

In my last post, I showed you the progression of The Rayne Household, which seems to have changed again! Now, Ashton’s got a fully functional backyard and soon will be building the perfect spot to get engaged and married. It’s an exciting time for Ashton!

Ashton met Walker Gould at The Solar Lounge, her favorite spot in Oasis Springs, and he mixed her up a delicious drink. Although her and Walker share the bookworm trait, it took them a little bit to hit it off. But once they did, it didn’t take long for them to go on their first date.

Since that first date, Ashton and Walker have been on many dates.

It didn’t take long before Ashton decided it was time to get serious and ask Walker to be her boyfriend.

They’ve been seeing each other daily ever since and Walker’s even stayed the night at Ashton’s house a couple times. After long talks and tons of cuddling, Ashton felt ready to WooHoo with Walker and the VIP Champagne Buckets sure helped them both get in the mood!

That night’s sleep was the best Ashton’s had yet!

Now, it’s officially one of Ashton’s whims to get engaged to Walker. I think she’s going to do it on her next days off of work and maybe throw a party. What guy doesn’t want to be proposed to in front of all his friends in a newly built backyard wedding room?
